How much does Online Banking cost?
Online Banking is another free service of First Bank & Trust Company.

How do I sign up?
You can enroll in Online Banking at any First Bank & Trust Company branch or by using our secure signup form. Your Online Banking ID will be mailed to you within 10 business days.

How do I access my Online Banking account?
Simply go to www.firstbank.com. Select Online Banking from the top Icon Menu!, and you will be prompted for your Online Banking ID and PIN.

What if I have lost my ID or PIN?
In the event you have lost your Online Banking ID or your PIN number, please contact your nearest branch . Please do not fill out another enrollment form, we cannot issue more than one Online Banking ID per customer.

I have downloaded the 128-bit encryption update for Internet Explorer but it still says that I need it. Why? When you download the Internet Explorer update, a dialogue box asks you if you want to save the file to disk, or run it from its current location. Choose to run it from its current location. Otherwise the update is downloaded but not installed.

How can you guarantee the security of my banking information?
We employ a number of criteria to guarantee the security of your banking information online. A few of these are listed below:

  • Your banking information never travels the Internet without encryption protection. First Bank Online Banking utilizes 128-bit encryption, the strongest encryption available.
  • Login sessions have a time-out limit and after the limit is reached you are required to login again.
  • PIN guessing is deterred and reported.
  • Internet security is not a one-time task. We are constantly developing and implementing security enhancements to ensure the integrity of our Online Banking system.

Please remember that all of these measures mean nothing if you do not keep your signin information secure. Do not give other people your Online Banking ID and PIN, and do not allow Internet Explorer to save your password information. For information on how to turn off this feature click here.

I am having trouble signing in.
Please carefully enter the Online Banking ID you received when you signed up for Online Banking. You were asked to change your PIN the first time you signed in. The new PIN you created is the one you will use to sign in after the first time.

Account is Locked
As a security measure, Online Banking accounts are locked after three unsuccessful attempts to sign in or after 90 days of inactivity. This means that three times the wrong PIN was entered when trying to access your account. Your account will have to be unblocked manually and reset to its original password. Please contact your nearest branch, or if your online banking ID is enabled for password self reset, you can unlock the account yourself.

When I transfer funds online, how late can I make the transaction in order to receive credit for it on the same day?
All transfers requested after 5:00 PM, will be processed on the next business day.
