Traveling Outside United States
Fraud risk is greater outside of the United
States. To lower risk of fraudulent transactions, we restrict use
of our cards in foreign countries. If you plan to travel outside the
US, contact us to activate
your card for use in other countries during your trip .
Security Features Added for Online Banking
To ensure your online banking continues to
be as secure as possible, First Bank & Trust has introduced enhanced
security features. One of the added security features will display
an image you select, assuring that you are at the true
First Bank & Trust Online Banking website.
Another feature will ask you to verify your identity if uncharacteristic
or unusual online banking behavior is detected.
You can relax in the confidence that your Online Banking experience
will be more secure than ever!
Counterfeit Cashier's Checks in Circulation
Please be advised that First Bank and Trust
Company has notified the FDIC that counterfeit cashier’s checks
bearing our name have been found in circulation. These checks come
containing a letter regarding a sweepstakes that the recipient has
supposedly won issued from a company bearing the name ‘the co-operators’.
Often the amounts are issued in $2,194.40. The phone number you are
instructed to call is listed as 1-778-987-6895 and the person answering
this phone verifies the check. However, this is not a Bank phone number
and the check is actually fraudulent. If you receive one of these,
please contact:
